Offshore Marine Academy (OMA) has teamed up with Atlas Professionals to train its new recruits with the skills required in offshore and onshore industries.
The new relationship, which has seen OMA bring its industry recommended ‘Introduction to Offshore Renewables’ course to Atlas’ offices in Bristol, means more and more delegates have a clear and detailed understanding off the unique and demanding roles available in offshore and onshore wind renewables projects.
The course content, which has received industry recognition from the Renewables Training Network (RTN), the training division of Renewables UK, was edited to ensure it suited the needs of the team at Atlas, which involved restructuring the course to ensure attendees understood the roles and responsibilities when working with contractors and clients.
OMA, which provide a variety of industry recommended courses globally, said that the collaboration with Atlas Professionals, a specialist HR service provider in the energy and marine industries, allowed them to deliver maximum knowledge transfer to Atlas’ course attendees.
“We are really proud to be able to support Atlas Professionals. Our key objective is to deliver training that adds value and knowledge. We endeavor to ensure all the companies we support benefit from our network of knowledge and experience which is why our offshore renewables courses cover a range of skills, from introductory to the more operational and technical”, explained Antony Lewis, Business Manager at OMA.
“This long-term relationship is a positive endorsement for the design, development and delivery of our Industry recommended Introduction to Offshore Renewables training course.”
Rory McMahon, Operations Manager at Atlas Professionals, said: “We are all too aware of the pressures in offshore sectors. It’s a highly competitive industry, requiring professionals to hold skills of the highest standard to ensure sound delivery of professional services to clients and candidates.
